Manufacturing Testing Engineer

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Manufacturing Testing Engineer to join its world class team.
This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today's most exciting technologies.
This position supports all manufacturing testing operations, primarily the Final Integration and Test (FIT) process.
About FIT:
Final Integration and Test (FIT) is a fast paced, high energy organization tasked with the testing and validation of Bloom Energy Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) and Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell (SOEC) technologies.
The purpose of FIT is to ensure that Bloom delivers quality products to its customers and support continuing product improvement.
In this way, FIT is a unique and highly skilled organization that is responsible for the operation of small fuel cell and electrolyzer installations.
FIT operates 24 hours/day and 7 days/week, in an outdoor environment.
Location:
This position will be based in Newark, DE.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Document all aspects of Test, including final assessment, quality concerns and testing anomalies.
Maintain product performance data and documentation.
Liaison with Product Quality department to implement Bloom's Quality Control Plan.
Work cross-functionally with Product Development and New Product Introduction teams to determine testing strategy for new products.
Work with the FIT Operations team to create and publish testing plans.
Evaluate the suitability of production line testing methods to include Function Tests (FTs) and other diagnostic methods.
Provide updates to Upper Management as to the status of product performance to include successes, risks, and business impacts.
Track and implement deviation testing trials as they pertain to quality validation.
Communicate quality defects and product performance concerns to key stakeholders (i.
e.
Production Lines; Quality Department; Supply Chain, etc.
) Education, Skills and
Experience:
BS in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
MS and or MBA a plus.
5 years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing and / or testing environment.
Familiar with common Data Analysis techniques /methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to understand/interpret data.
Demonstrates a highly analytical skill set with keen attention to detail(s).
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Can communicate up to an executive level.
Highly skilled and proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.
e.
Excel, Project, Power Point).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with technical documentation and operating instructions.
Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with ISO standards (e.
g.
ISO 9001) preferred.

Salary Ranges:
$73,800.
00 - $106,200.
